Creative Marketing Specialist

Job description

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE JOB!
We are looking for a multi-skilled Creative Marketing Specialist to help bring our self-storage brand to life across every touchpoint – digital acquisition campaigns, social content, website, and in-store/point-of-sale materials. You are a hands-on creator and a brand guardian: you design and produce high-performing visual assets, while ensuring consistency and quality across multiple European markets. You also leverage state-of-the-art AI-enabled tools and workflows to speed up ideation and asset variation, while ensuring brand consistency, quality and responsible use.

A key part of the role is in-house production of photo and short-form video to support campaigns and reduce time-to-market. You will create and edit content for paid and organic social, repurpose existing assets into motion, and either coordinate with agencies or run shoots yourself to capture impactful, on-brand imagery of our locations and teams.

You report to the Marketing & Web Channel Manager and will work closely with content and performance specialists.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES!
Brand Ownership & Creative Direction

  • You maintain and evolve our brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels and markets.
  • You act as the brand’s creative guardian: you review third-party assets for brand alignment and quality and propose refinements to ensure consistency with our guidelines.
  • You develop design systems and creative libraries that speed up execution without sacrificing quality.
  • You define and maintain practical guidelines for responsible AI use in creative workflows (brand tone, compliance, image rights), ensuring safe and consistent output.

Design & Asset Creation

  • You conceptualize and design visual assets for paid social media (paid and organic), display, retargeting, landing
  • You build scalable templates and visual frameworks for multi-language/market marketing execution.
  • You produce point-of-sale materials such as signage, window decals, posters and in-store displays.
  • You adapt visuals to different formats, markets and campaign objectives while keeping brand consistency and local requirements in mind.
  • You use AI-supported workflows to quickly generate and test multiple creative directions and variants (layouts, messaging routes, visual treatments) for performance marketing.
  • You enhance efficiency with AI-assisted adaptation and localization support for multi-market asset versioning (formats, languages, variants), with final human review.

Photography Production

  • You plan store photo shoots (interior, exterior, signage, team) and capture on-brand scenarios and product-focused imagery.
  • You ensure all visuals meet technical standards and reflect the brand personality.
  • You maintain and grow a brand-owned visual library, including usage rights and clear naming/versioning.

Profile (ex. Education, experience, competencies, etc)

Short-Form Video Production

  • You create, edit and (lightly) animate short video ads for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other social formats – using a mix of in-house capture, existing footage, and AI-assisted generation where appropriate.
  • You repurpose existing footage, photography and brand assets into high-quality motion content.
  • You create multiple creative variants to support testing (hooks, visual hierarchy, cut-downs, aspect ratios, CTAs).

Marketing Ops & Campaign Support

  • You contribute to creative performance improvements through structured iteration and collaboration with Performance Marketing (A/B tests, learnings, creative refresh cycles).
  • You manage a lightweight digital asset management approach (structure, tags, version control) to keep teams efficient and aligned.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR SKILLS!

  • Strong visual storytelling with an eye for layout, typography and brand consistency.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing creative (attention hooks, clarity, hierarchy, channel specs).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across markets with great attention to detail.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and comfortable working with testing/iteration cycles.
  • Comfortable translating “business asks” into clean, customer-friendly creative.
  • AI-enabled workflows to accelerate ideation, production and creative testing – paired with strong judgment on quality, brand safety, privacy and usage rights.
  • Tool proficiency (examples):
    • Design: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma
    • Video/Motion: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut (or equivalent)
    • Collaboration: MS 365
    • AI tools: practical experience using creative AI tools is a very strong asset (for ideation/variants and efficiency, with human review)

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR PROFILE!

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design / Visual Communication / Multimedia (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in a design, visual content or brand creative role (in-house and/or agency).
  • A portfolio showing strong campaign work across digital channels (print/OOH is a plus).
  • Experience producing and editing short-form video; basic motion graphics is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as French, Dutch, or German are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for shoots, store openings, and team collaboration.

And colleagues? Well, they are very important to you too. You like sharing and collaborating. You want to contribute to a fun and constructive work climate. And needless to say, you love to learn and to develop your knowledge and skills.
